Meet Dr. Sarah Ford
Education and Experience
Dr. Sarah Ford graduated with a bachelor of science from the University of Findlay and went on to graduate summa cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing small animal medicine in northeast Ohio since she graduated in 2004.
Along with working as an associate in private practice, she also started Veterinary Behavior Counseling, LLC and provided in-home behavior consults for pets with problems such as aggression, separation anxiety, and phobias. She continues to have a strong interest in behavior, as well as internal medicine, preventive care for all ages, and greyhound medicine.
About Her Passion for Pets
Dr. Ford’s love of people and pets is the driving force behind Stay @Home Mobile Vet Clinic. During her behavior consultations, she recognized that owners and pets were less stressed about the vet when they were able to stay in their home. House calls provide an opportunity for a more thorough physical exam of the pet and more time to customize their care according to the owner’s expectations. Dr. Ford is excited to bring premium veterinary care to your door!
In Her Personal Time
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Ford enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family including her greyhound, Stella.
